The NBA playoffs start tomorrow. For the first time in the history of the NBA, neither the Celtics, the Lakers, nor the Knicks will be in the playoffs. There are some very intriguing first round matchups in both conferences. Perhaps the most interesting will the 3 vs 6 duel between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors. The Houston Rockets and the Portland Trail Blazers will another great series. In the East I think that the best opening round series will be the Brooklyn Nets and the Toronto Raptors. I believe the Raptors are better than most people think, but ultimately I see the Nets winning that series. If the Nets get by Toronto, donít forget that Brooklyn has not lost to the Heat this season. Here is how I see the NBA Playoffs shaping out.

Indiana 4 vs. Atlanta 1: I think Indiana wins this one rather easily the Hawks just donít have the horses to match the Pacers. Iím taking Indiana in 5 games.

Chicago 4 vs. Washington 3: This will be a very good series to watch, but I think Chicago wins in 7.

Toronto 2 vs. Brooklyn 4: Another good series here. The Nets Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett have played more playoff games by themselves as the entire Raptors starting five. With that being said, Iím taking the Nets in 6.

Miami 4 vs. Charlotte 0: The Heat win easily, Miami sweeps the Bobcats.

Indiana 4 vs. Chicago 2: If the Pacers can get their act together I think they can win this series easily, so Iím taking Indiana in 6.

Miami 4 vs. Brooklyn 3: The Heat have not beaten the Nets this season, take that however you want, but I think this will be a tough series. Iím taking the Heat in 7.

Indiana 4 Miami 3: The series that we all want to see, Heat Pacers. I think this will be all that we want it to be as basketball fans. This will be a tough, physical series. The Heat will have recover from a tough series with the Nets, so Iíll take the Pacers in 7 games.

San Antonio 4 vs. Dallas 1: The Spurs wonít have much trouble with the Mavs, Spurs win in 5.

Houston 4 vs. Portland 3: This will be a tough series and it will be a great series to watch. Lookout for the winner of this series to make it to the Finals. Iím taking Houston in 7.

Los Angeles 4 vs. Golden State 2: The Clippers will be a scary matchup for anyone. I think they have a real chance to make to the Finals if they can get it together. Iím taking the Clippers in 6.

Oklahoma City 4 vs. Memphis 2: The Thunder will just be too much for the Grizzlies to handle. Thunder in 6.

San Antonio 4 vs. Houston 2: The Spurs veterans will be too much for the Rockets. Spurs win it in 6.

Oklahoma City 4 vs. Los Angeles 3: This will be a great series but I think Durant and Westbrook will be too much for Griffin and Paul. Thunder win in 7.

San Antonio 4 vs. Oklahoma City 3: A rematch from last yearís Western Conference Finals and I think it will be the same result. I think the Spurs win in 7.

San Antonio 4 vs. Indiana 2: I think the Spurs experience will out match Indiana. One more ring for Duncan. Spurs in 6.
