W(i) here at the website are always having rain-brains of ideas. NASCAR is also into creative marketing. Here are some concepts to power-up those TV ratings.

> Lemans start for the race. Be more physically athletic. The pit crews are timed. What the 40 time of your favorite driver?

> Wrecks!!! Everyone looks when there is big wrecks/big pile-ups. Then there is stoppage in the action. Not good. The drivers who are not hurt can continue yet their race cars are finished for the day, I propose a one or two short boxing matches between drivers. The driver who "instigated" the wreck versus the highest bidder. Some Nextel cup points up for grabs to the winner. Another match if enough participants and if time before restart. Then, Tony Stewart see if you want to wreck somebody in intentionally, hhmm. Fans want the good ole days. Good wheel men and good with their fists. I bet Cale Yarbrough could still whoop 80% of the drivers/wussies today. Jimmy Spencer and Dale Jarrett would gain Nextel points and fans. Also, lessen these cheap shots. Action between restarts, what a concept. Hey, have Tonya Harding challenge little E to a boxing match while we are at it!

> Somewhere in the middle of the season. Cut back on the laps of some Busch race and have figure 8 demolition derby for some Nextel cup points, yes!

> The winner's circle is nice.
However, the brawler's circle
between restarts and at the end of races is ratings. Pay-per-view, EVEN????

More sports entertainment or form a southern stock car association with the most popular tracks and "in your face" characters.
